Malta Knight

A Hospitallier knight would be accompanied by a memento mori, however here a knights helmet is in the foreground. The setting is in Valletta and St. Barbara Bastions and the Grand Harbor are suggested in the background. The helmet is in rich damask and a curtain is tied in knot.
